The fly line is one of the most important pieces of equipment for a proper presentation. Up until now it was inconvenient at best to change your line. Now you can change your line quickly and easily with the GuideRunner™ Rapid Line Changer™ even standing in a river or floating on a lake.
The GuideRunner™ Rapid Line Changer ™ makes it quick and easy to change your line without struggling to thread your rod. It is actually possible to thread your rod with out having to reach any of the guides.
The GuideRunner™ Rapid Line Changer™ consists of a small reel that attaches to the rod grip by means of a hook and loop strap. The reel contains 30ft. of line with a special patented clip attached to the end.
Simply attach the Rapid Line Changer™ to the rod grip using the strap. Tie an overhand knot in the end of your leader and insert the leader into the clip (it is not always necessary to use a knot but it is always advised to avoid slipping).Reel in the flyline until the clip passes through the guides to the reel. Unclip the leader, exchange spools on the reel, insert the leader into the clip and reel in the Rapid Line Changer™. The new line will now be pulled back up through the guides by the clip. When the clip reaches the reel, unclip the leader and remove the Rapid Line Changer™. Tie on a fly, and resume fishing with a better presentation.
The GuideRunner™ Rapid Line Changer™ is about 2 3/4” in diameter and comes with a durable nylon pouch.
